A 16-year-old boy is dead following a double shooting in Minneapolis' Near North neighborhood Thursday evening. Police responded to the 1300 block of 18th Avenue North around 5:30 p.m. on reports of multiple shots fired, launching an ongoing homicide investigation.
The Minneapolis City Council has enacted a six-month moratorium on some new data centers. The pause applies to large facilities but specifically exempts data centers smaller than 350,000 square feet or any that fall within the downtown core.
